tip one: connect your website to the google search console

Google Search Console is a free service that helps you manage your site’s presence in Google search results & in order for your Squarespace website to be crawled and indexed, we highly suggest connecting to the Google search console! In this video below, we’ll be walking you through the steps to easily set this up on your Squarespace website!

tip two: add in a keyword rich site description and page meta descriptions

Site Descriptions make it easier for users to find your website when they are browsing online!

Your site and page meta descriptions in Squarespace are an amazing way to give search engines what they need to rank your page or post on your website higher on online searches, and the great thing is that Squarespace makes it really easy for us to update these ourselves! In this video, we’ll cover exactly how you can do this in your own Squarespace website.

SEMrush - Useful for keyword research, competitor keyword stats, tracking keyword rankings & much more!
Google Keyword Planner - Free to use and it’s directly integrated with Google AdWords - very useful tool!
KWFinder - Free tool & great for long-tail keywords! It provides you with the same information as SEMRush, but is much less intense to digest!

tip three: put your website imagery to work!

Did you know the images on your website, if not uploaded correctly, can negatively impact your SEO?!
